Catholic Churches

 

First Catholic Church in Greater Bloomfield was Saint Peter's, Belleville, founded 1837.

Second was Immaculate Conception, Montclair, 1864. 

Third was Sacred Heart, 1878.

The current structure was dedicated in October, 1892. 

 

The organ, the largest in Bloomfield at the time, was made by L. C. Harrison on Orange Street.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fourth Catholic Church in Greater Bloomfield (second in Bloomfield) was Saint Valentine's, founded 1899.
