The first public high school building, built in 18__. In ____, it became Park Grammar School. In 19__, it became the administration building for the Bloomfield Board of Education.

This conceptual rendering, singed by C J Van Winkle, architect, was published in the yearbook for the Bloomfield High School Class of 1909. As can be seen in the photos of the final structure, the design was greatly simplified, and the Victorian influence generally abandoned, by the time contruction began.

Town paid $16,000 for land, and $250,000 total.
 
 
 
 
 
A crane on the roof in this photograph, from the yearbook of the BHS class of 1912, indicates that the new building was not yet complete. The new school opened in January 1913.

Explosion of the student population necessitated expansion of the school in 1923, 1929, and 19__, more than doubling the size of the facility.
 
This artist's rendition shows the original gymnasium (red roof, center). When a boys' gym [located _________] was added in 19__, the original gymnasium became the girls' gym. It was [closed/condemned] in 19__. 
 
Foley Field, named for legendary BHS football coach William Foley, a Works Progress Administration project, was built in 19[39].

In 197_, a new gymnasium, shop, and _____ were added on the Park Avenue side of the building. At that time, a tennis court and parking lot were also added, resulting in the demolition of the _____ Church. [need pic]
